ALFA-PVC
ALFA-PVC joints are used as a replacement for certain types of fittings. They are used for connecting plastic pipe with flange of shutter, fitting, cast iron or steel pipe.
Main advantages of using ALFA-PVC joints are:
- very simple installation and removal of the joint, which is not the case with the commonly
used fittings;
- size of the overlap, i.e. specific pressure of gasket on the pipe, is adjustable;
- gasket width of ALFA-PVC joints is significantly larger than on corresponding fittings which
enables increase of contact friction between pipe and gasket, resulting that axial movement
of PVC pipe is disabled;
- possibility of using joint as a detachable flange during installation of shutter in the pipeline system;
- possibility of gasket tightening in case that, from whatever reason, leakage occurs.
