BETA joints are used for a mutual connection between polyethylene pipes and PVC pipes. If they connect two polyethylene pipes they’re called BETA-PE, while in case when connecting two PVC pipes they’re marked as BETA-PVC.
BETA joints have wide application in repairing failures on PVC pipelines and as an alternative for jaw couplings, thanks to their numerous constructive advantages.
Additional advantage of using BETA joints is that small damages on pipelines can be resolved by using just one joint in such way that the small, damaged, part of the pipe is being cut off, in sufficient size just to enable inserting parts of the joints through (one half of the joint goes through and on each side) and then, by simply connecting inserted parts, the installation and repair is complete.
