ALFA I generation

ALFA I generation joints are used to connect a specific pipe with the flange of a fastener, shaped piece, cast iron or steel pipe.

Some of the basic advantages of using ALFA I generation joints are:
- very simple and easy installation and deinstallation, with possibility of deep pipe insert, which enables secure connection;
- specially constructed massive gaskets which enable reliable sealing and absorb possible angular deviations of the pipe at the connection point;
- possibility of tightening the gasket in case that for any reason there is a leakage at the joint.

ALFA I generation joints are made separately for different types of material and pipes, as specified: AC – for asbestos-cement pipes;
Č – for steel pipes;
LG – for cast iron pipes;
PE – for polyethylene pipes;
PES – for polyester pipes;
PVC – for PVC pipes.

During their existance these joints have recieved their successors - ALFA II generation joints, but they are still being dominantly used for pipe diameters in the range of DN350 upwards thanks to their time-tested reliability, and also because there is less importance in universality of the joint with the increase in nominal pipe diameter.
