UNIVERSAL FIX

UNIVERSAL FIX joints are based on the existing production program developed for UNIVERSAL joints with the distinction that, instead of usual flanges, there are special flanges with unique toothed metal fixers which are used for securing the connection against the axial movement of the pipe.

All installation ranges and other general characteristics which are stated for UNIVERSAL joints are also valid for UNIVERSAL FIX joints.

Specific and unique advantage of using these joints is possibility of safe installation when pipes are made from brittle materials. This is made possible by providing seperate tightening of gasket and fixers, which provides that tightening torque for the gasket can be made in such way that it secures reliable sealing, while torque for the fixers can be significantly smaller, optimal for making sure there is no possibility of axial movement, but which will not damage the pipe.

Another big advantage of using these products is that they can solve the problem of pipe’s ovality. Since each of the fixers has independant tread while tightening, this enables that ovality of the pipe can be resolved by diferent tread lengths which makes possible that the pipe is being moved to ideal axis during the installation.
