BETA-PVC joints are used as a as a connection between PVC pipes. They have a widespread utilization in repairs of PVC pipelines.
Main advantages of using BETA-PVC joints are:
- very simple installation and removal of the joint, which is not the case with the
commonly used fittings;
- size of overlap, i.e. specific pressure of gasket on pipe, is adjustable;
- gasket width of BETA-PVC joints is significantly larger than on corresponding
fittings which enables increase of contact friction between pipe and gasket, resulting
that axial movement of PVC pipe is disabled;
- possibility of gasket tightening in case that, from whatever reason, leakage occurs.
