Spojnice LINK-AC-ŽIBO are used to stop leakage at the joint of asbestos-cement pipes when the joint is made with "Žibo" type connectors ("Gibault"). The causes of leakage that can occur with this type of pipe connection are: due to plastic deformation of the O-ring, due to the mutual position of the pipe and the coupling, as well as due to the occurrence of bursting on the flange of the "Žibo" coupling.
We manufacture three types of these joints: B, C and D, depending of asbestos- cement pipe class for which joints are designed.
Basic advantage of using LINK-AC-ŽIBO joints is that stopping leakage on existing connection is made without cutting the existing joint or pipe and without consumers being cut-off.
